As Venture Architect (m/f/d) you are responsible for all commercial aspects of our ventures.
You support our project leads and founders in the development of novel business models and business plans for their innovative ventures and quantify the business value of product ideas. You will also advise the Founders on potentially attractive partner start-ups that could be potential partners and take the first steps towards patenting business models and novel business approaches. Through customer workshops you lay the foundation for new product ideas.
Planning and implementation of new ventures, products and services in the early product development phase
Presentation, evaluation and selection of suitable business models and development of business plans.
Testing and validation of critical hypotheses and assumptions
Quantification of business values, evaluation of market sizes and market potentials
Competitive analysis and analysis of trends and technologies
Identification of potential partner companies and start-ups
Supporting our business areas in the areas of problem discovery and Ideation
Close cooperation with strategic design, product development, customers and partners to build significant products and businesses
IP generation and control of digital patents
3 years of experience in strategy development and implementation as well as strategic business development in corporate environment or consulting
Business administration degree or similar, ideally supplemented by MBA or PhD
Distinct understanding of business management paired with expert knowledge of innovative business models
Experience in a highly dynamic start-up environment, ideally as a former Founder
Familiarity with regulated industries, in particular the pharmaceutical environment
Highly motivated team player with a proactive and independent way of working and a pronounced sense of responsibility
Strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as technical mindset
Passion to develop products and services that are loved by customers
Pronounced conflict competence combined with the courage to question traditional approaches and to break them if necessary
Thinking in business models and ability to successfully perform and act in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Fluent German and very good English skills; further language skills would be a plus
