Hauni Richmond, Inc. is looking for a Production Control Specialist/Lean Practitioner

Tasks:

Independently acts as LEAN practitioner and analyze current work practices to identify areas for improvements, and educate as to how to improve business and manufacturing processes within the complete production area.

 

Contribute to LEAN improvement activities, looking for safety, quality, delivery, productivity cost and efficiency throughout the production area, including but not limited to the departments of Stockroom, Inspection, Machine Shop and Assembly.

 

Control and monitors all network plans in SAP, related to sales order for production, including all jobs on the Assembly floor.

 

Supports and brings knowledge to the Assembly area to the LEAN process by using LEAN, including preparing and deploying appropriate methodologies to problem solving and support teams to solve problems.

 

Develop new network processes for new products and maintain existing network processes to monitor sales orders products throughout the company.

 

Inventory all part returns from production jobs, and supply the inventory list to Technical Clarification / Engineering for possible required changes of bill of materials.

 

Independently complete special projects and assignments, as required, in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree or completed apprenticeship in related technical field or Business, or equivalent work experience.  Minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to read and interpret company drawings and understand metric units.  Computer experience mandatory (Microsoft Office, especially Excel).  SAP knowledge required. Possess good communication skills and an ability to work well with others.  Six Sigma Belt qualification.
