For our location in Richmond we are looking for

Field Service Technician/Mechanical

Tasks:

Perform the troubleshooting, repair, service, and installation of duties in a timely and accurate manner.

Should be capable of communicating effectively with customers and within other departments of Hauni in both verbal and written form. 

Support customer personnel by providing technical knowledge and expertise on the equipment.

Conduct training for customer personnel on the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment upon request.

Provide technical support to customer personnel regarding the inventory of critical spare parts and convey knowledge on the use of spare parts catalog.

Assist in the support of control systems, utilizing manuals, schematics, and test equipment.

Be prepared and ready for service assignments, including international travel, for any length of time.

Prepare service reports accurately and submit biweekly or more frequently if necessary.

Keep abreast of new technological developments of assigned Hauni equipment.

Perform work assignments in a safe and responsible manner.

Represent the company professionally and conduct business with tact and diplomacy.

Qualifications:

College graduate with a B.S. in electrical/mechanical engineering or have a combination of the equivalent education and experience.  In addition, at least three to five years’ experience in the assembly, repair, installation, or design of high-speed equipment is required.  Effective communication skills are also necessary.  Frequent travel is required including international assignments.
