For our location in Bangkok we are looking for

Operations Director

Tasks:

  • Lead the build-up of Werum ASIA Service Delivery team and acts as an own Program Manager for large scale, critical projects and roll-out programs supported by regional Project Managers.
  • Coach and trainer for the on-going development of skills and experience in new and more junior project managers and project engineers
  • Handles escalations and works with the project teams to solve/trouble shoot project and client relationship issues onsite and remotely
  • Works to manage, align and coordinate all project stakeholders for the success of the project whilst achieving on-time, in-budget delivery and high quality products and services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or proven equivalent Degree qualification and/or practical experience
  • At least 7 years of direct experience as a PM / consultant / technical role in the domain of MES - Pharma IT/MES

Technical skills:

  • Have an excellent understanding of project management methodology – PMP or other PM training an advantage
  • Have an excellent knowledge in relevant MES consulting area and other business process focused software (e.g: ERP, LIMS, eQMS, SCADA/DCS)

  • Able to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communications skills in English both oral and written, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Able to independently manage multiple on-going projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong customer focus with a desire to deliver a high quality service
  • Desire to continuously learn and improve skills and knowledge and to develop other colleagues to fulfil their potential
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients
  • Good team player but able to work independently
  • Detail-oriented with a high personal work standard to achieve excellence
  • Be able to follow through commitments and understand the importance of deadlines
  • Revenue responsibility ~ 8 MEUR / year

Scope of the role:

To ramp up the capability of the Werum Thailand organization in the areas of service delivery and represent Werum ASIA in the service delivery area with the close support of regional project managers tasked with the deployment of the Werum MES solution through-out the world.
