For our location in Porto (Maia) we are looking for

Automation Engineer (M/F)


Carry out the equipment programming and ensure the application of internal and external tests to the products developed. Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, standards and regulations, guaranteeing the quality of the solution developed. Development of the machine automation project.


Key responsibilities:

  • PLC programming according to established specifications;
  • HMI and SCADA programming and development;
  • Assembly and parameterization of electronic equipment ensuring its correct operation;
  • Onsite products testing, ensuring that they performed accordingly. Identify nonconformities, investigate the causes and propose corrective actions;
  • Prepare operation and user support manuals;
  • Carry out onsite training sessions to clients.


  • Colleague degree in Electrical or Mechanical Automation Engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar jobs with experience in programming
  • Knowledge of SIMATIC TIA Portal V13 (STEP 7 and WinCC);
  • Professional experience in PLC programming, adjusting inverters parameters and testing automation projects;
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken);
  • Available for international mobility (35% of time);
